For Codex in your terminal. The Codex app and the Codex editor extension read the same list, so this adds Trillion to them too. Do it once on each computer you use.

Open Terminal

On a Mac press Command and Space, type Terminal and press Return. On Windows open PowerShell.

Paste this line and press Return

Codex adds Trillion and opens your browser to sign in by itself.
If not: “command not found: codex” means Codex is not installed on this computer. Install it from developers.openai.com/codex, then paste the line again.

Tap your passkey in the browser

A Trillion page opens in your browser: tap your passkey and allow Codex.When it worked: Terminal says “Successfully logged in”.If not: if the browser did not open, paste this and press Return:

Check it

Paste this and press Return.
When it worked: a row for trillion with its address.

Let Trillion run without asking

Open the file ~/.codex/config.toml, find the part that starts with [mcp_servers.trillion] and add the line below under it. Codex then uses every Trillion tool without asking you each time.

Start Codex by typing codex, then ask in plain words, for example:
