For claude.ai and the Claude desktop app, on any plan (the Free plan allows one custom connector). Each claude.ai account keeps its own list of connectors, so a second Claude account adds Trillion once too and signs in with the same passkey, reaching the same Trillion. Claude Code keeps its own list on each computer instead; see Claude Code.
1

Open your Connectors

Sign in to claude.ai, or open the Claude desktop app. In the left sidebar click Customize, then Connectors.Open Claude connectorsIf not: on a Team or Enterprise plan only the owner can add connectors. Ask them to add Trillion in Organization settings, Connectors, Add, Custom, Web, with the address in step 3. Then you open Customize, Connectors and click Connect next to Trillion, and skip to step 5.
2

Click + and then Add custom connector

The + is at the top of the Connectors list. A window called Add custom connector opens.
3

Type the name and paste the address

In the name box type Trillion. Copy the address below and paste it in the URL box. Then click the button at the bottom right to go on.
If not: if Claude says the address is not valid, check that it starts with https:// and ends with /mcp, with no space before or after.
4

Click Add

The next part of the window shows Claude’s sign-in choices. Claude has already picked the right ones for Trillion, so do not change anything. Scroll down and click Add.Leave as it is: Authentication: Sign in now (Detected). OAuth client: Use Claude’s published identity (Detected). Request headers: none. Advanced, Transport: Streamable HTTP.When it worked: Trillion is in your Connectors list.
5

Click Connect and tap your passkey

Next to Trillion click Connect. A Trillion page opens: tap your passkey (Touch ID or Face ID) and allow Claude. The page closes by itself. When it worked: Trillion shows as connected. If not: if you pressed Cancel on the passkey, or the page closed too early, click Connect again. If you have no Trillion account yet, choose Create your Trillion account under New here? on that page.
6

Let Trillion run without asking

Still in Customize, Connectors, click Trillion. Under Tool permissions, choose Always allow for each group of tools. Claude then uses Trillion without stopping to ask you each time. When it worked: Always allow is next to every group of Trillion’s tools. If not: if Claude still asks before a Trillion tool, click Always allow on that prompt; it stays that way for that tool.
7

Turn it on in a chat

Start a new chat. Click the + at the bottom left of the message box, choose Connectors and switch Trillion on. Then ask for what you want, for example:
If not: if Claude answers without using Trillion, write “Use Trillion” at the start of your message.
